The Safeguarding Standards have been endorsed by the Salford Safeguarding Children Board, Salford CVS, and VOCAL.
Feedback from Previous Sessions:
- Going through standards helped make them clearer, not as much work as thought to ensure all being met.
- I had very little knowledge of this subject before so good to get an overview and where I can go for more information.
The Standards cover:
- Accountability and information sharing
- Organisations policies and procedures
- Reporting concerns, suspicions and allegations
- Safe recruitment and selectionManagement and support of paid staff and volunteers
- Providing safer activities and trips
