Welcome to the funding section of the Salford CVS website
We hope you find this section useful for all your fundraising needs, whether you’re brand new to fundraising or an experienced fundraiser for many years, there is something here for everyone.
At Salford CVS we have a wide variety of tools, techniques and tips to help support you in raising income for your organisation. From assisting in project planning and development, setting up a budget and sourcing the right place to apply, you can call us to support you in every step of your fundraising journey.
We have good relationships with local and national funders like the Community Foundation for Greater Manchester, BIG Lottery, Lloyds TSB and Children in Need that can help you prepare a successful application.
We can support you in indentifying diverse ways of generating income to ensure you don’t have all your eggs in one basket. Ensuring you have a wide spectrum of funding sources for example Do It Yourself fundraising, grants, contracts and trading.
There are a range of ways to search for funds and the find the right opportunity for you. This is via using software like Grant finder and Funding Central.

Little Pot of Health
Small grants for community groups to improve health and wellbeing for people in Salford.
This is an opportunity for supporting small organisations making a difference in their community.
e.g. luncheon clubs, sports clubs, youth groups...
We can fund things like transport costs, rent, and equipment that help towards promoting health and wellbeing in Salford.
The application process is short and simple and the application deadline is 4.00pm on Tuesday 31st January 2012
Maximum grant award of £3000 is available, applications for small amounts will be given higher priority.
