Seed Fund has a current funding priority to encourage and support grass-root community activity for organisations less than 12 months old, up to £1,000 is available, the next deadline is 31st January 2012

Salford Community Fund aims to improve the lives of local Salford people, unconstituted groups can apply for up to £250 and groups with constitutions or rules of associations can apply for up to £1,500, the next deadline is 11th January 2012

Salford Community Committee - Devolved Budgets provides funding for projects aimed at targeting vulnerable groups or that operate in a deprived geographical area, there are various deadlines for each ward

Towpath Grant Projects support ‘hard to reach’ communities and individuals, to enable them to access employment or further learning and training, up to £12,000 available

Community Foundation for Greater Manchester hosts a range of small grants up to £5,000

Sport England's Small Grants Programme aims to support local community projects with sporting benefits, grants of between £300 and £10,000 available, call 08458 508 508

Small Travel Grants for voluntary organisations of older or disabled people
of up to £150 are available

Community Group Grants are considered at the budget group meetings listed in the attached document below. Applications should be submitted before the deadline dates listed in the attached document, which vary depending on the budget group
