Why become a member?
We need our members!  They have a crucial role to play. Salford CVS speaks up for and acts in the interests of local community groups and voluntary organisations and our links to our membership enable us to provide legitimate representation, particularly within the Salford Strategic Partnership structures.

Benefits of Membership

As a member, you will receive:-

• a discount on training and learning opportunities provided by Salford CVS
• a free copy of our quarterly newsletter – Salford CVS News. (You can order up to a maximum of 10 copies per organisation).
• the option to have your organisational details published on our FREE online directory (voluntary and community sector organisations only)
• the opportunity to join our e-groups and receive email bulletins about your organisation’s areas of interest – e.g. Funding, Training, Children and Young People, Health & Social Care, Quality Standards etc.
• entitlement to a discount on CVS Direct – our low cost mailing service and on our photocopying service.

• • Full Members automatically receive an invitation to the Annual General Meeting and are entitled to seek nomination to the Board of Trustees.

Membership Categories

There are two categories of membership:

1. Full membership - open to constituted community or voluntary organisations operating in Salford.

2. Associate membership - open to other organisations and enterprises and to statutory agencies and individuals who support Salford CVS’ objects and activities.
