The Alternative Provider Federation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to help us develop our membership, functions and role. Your work will complement that of our Executive Chair – a new role we are also recruiting to.
The Alternative Provider Federation is effectively the new provider arm of the Greater Manchester VCSE Leadership Group https://vcseleadershipgm.org.uk/ and has been endorsed by the GM Integrated Care System (ICS) Transition Board.
Both roles are being funded via the Leadership Group as part of the work to deliver the GM Accord – an agreement between the VCSE sector, GMCA and the HSCP / ICS. You will be employed by the 10GM partnership of local infrastructure organisations www.10GM.org.uk, who are founder members of the GM VCSE Leadership Group.
This is a critical role for us as we move to develop an idea into a functioning entity. You will be an experienced, highly motivated Project Manager who is excited about this new initiative and committed to helping us ensure we deliver.
The main responsibilities of this role are:
- To develop the membership of the Alternative Provider Federation, in conjunction with the current steering group
- To develop a project plan that captures the mission, vision, values, purpose and priorities of the Provider Collaborative
- To organise regular meetings of the Alternative Provider Federation, supporting the Executive Chair and fulfilling secretariat duties as required
- To report back to the GM VCSE Leadership Group on a quarterly basis
- To attend regular line management sessions with a 10GM Director
- To work to ensure that the social enterprise and charitable providers in GM are supported to develop and grow in the provider space
- To work closely with the Executive Chair to support members, facilitate collaborations and ensure shared values and the highest standards of probity
- To ensure the flexibility and creativity of members of the Alternative Provider Federation are utilised to maximise their contribution to the ICS in the reduction of health inequalities in GM, alongside the Executive Chair
