Following a restructure of the core Cartwheel Arts team to support the recent growth of the company, we are looking for a highly organised and committed Admin and Communications Officer. Candidates should understand the administrative needs of a small team. Candidates should also be passionate about the role that digital media and communications can play in both promoting the work of the company, and in engaging participants, partners and funders. This is our mission:

Cartwheel is committed to promoting social inclusion, cohesion, diversity and regeneration through community participation in vibrant, innovative, high-quality arts projects building healthier, stronger, safer communities.

We call this Art for a Reason.

The Admin and Communications Officer post is part time (15 hours per week) at a salary of £22,183 pro rata plus employer pension contribution (7.5%) of which the employee is required to match 0.5%. 30 days holiday allowance, plus bank holidays, pro rata.

Our preference would be for the 15 hours to be worked over three days –although we can be flexible for the right candidate, at least some of the hours must be worked on Wednesdays. As stated in the person specification, a significant element of the role is to support the Board meetings so the role will involve attending 2-3 evening meetings each quarter (currently via Zoom).
