StreetGames are working with Sport England as they consult the sports sector about their future strategy.
Part of this consultation has been called the ‘Big Club Conversation’. For the second stage of this consultation, StreetGames are helping to facilitate local organisations with direct community sport delivery experience to get involved in the conversation.
The lead for this area of work at Sport England, Rosie Benson, has planned a two-hour session with a break in the middle which will cover the following:
- Creating a positive club culture and having a clear vision and values.
- Creating an inclusive environment - Sharing ideas and challenges on making activities open and accessible to everyone.
- Volunteering – how do you find and support the people who can help you create a positive club culture/inclusive environment?
The aim of the session is to capture your personal experiences and reflections from your own communities and organisations. Each session is capped at 20 individuals and will be held on zoom. Please click on the link below for whichever session you can attend:
