Mixing presentation and interactive discussions\, this session will help y ou to understand and engage people as volunteers f or your organisation. You’ll take steps to prepari ng or refreshing an effective volunteer engagement strategy.

Despite the volunteer landscape changing rapidly\, it is possible to re cruit and retain volunteers\, but doing so require s a change in mindset and approach. Doing what we’ ve always done won’t get us what we’ve always got anymore.

This session will help you under stand the changes taking in place in volunteering\ , why they are occurring\, what you can do to adap t\, and will start you on the path to developing a n effective volunteer engagement strategy

Why having a volunteering strategy is important
How we es tablish some fundamentals of a strategy
