Theme: The VOICE of Children and Young People

According to article 10 of the Human Rights Act 1998 “The voice of the children” should be recorded throughout childhood.  Within Salford there are multiple systems in existence to listen to the views of Children, Young People, Families and Communities.  Unfortunately these are often in isolation and are not informing the wider system.

Our guest speaker is Rachel Prest from Salford City Council who will be providing information about the “Making A Difference in Salford: What’s Life Like for You project” we will also be sharing the work that Salford CVS have done on behalf of VOCAL Children, Young People & Families Forum around engagement of seldom heard young people with City Leaders.
