Funding Focus – Applying to Trusts and Foundations

Registration is closed for this event

Applying for funding is for many organisations an essential yet time-consuming task. This course will be looking at applying to trusts and foundations, especially when they say just write a letter and there is no application form and often little in the way of guidance about what they are looking for. What do you put in it? How long should it be?

In this practical session, you will be equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence of how to write a good funding application.

Aim

To improve confidence and skills in completing a funding application

Learning Outcomes

By attending this session participants will be able to:

To identify key things to think about before writing a letter of application

Describe what funders are looking for

Explain key areas that make a letter stand out

This training course is free for those who work or volunteer with voluntary, community or social enterprise (VCSE) organisations that operate in Salford.
