Social Value Portal Roundtable for Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise Sector Organisations

Time 2pm to 4pm

 

Salford Social Value Alliance is hosting this Social Value Portal Roundtable for VCSE Sector organisations.

Salford City Council as part of procurement and contract management process are introducing the requirement for contractors (including VCSE sector) who are awarded contracts over £75K to use the Social Value Portal to measure, manage and report the Social Value of their contracts.  NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning Group are also considering following this approach.

This roundtable is aimed at VCSE organisations who currently hold contracts with Salford City Council and/or NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning Group and provides the opportunity to find out more about

  • The Social Value Portal, how it works to measure social value and how much it costs
  • Salford City Council plans to roll out the use of the Social Value Portal as part of their procurement and contracting process
  • How Unlimited Potential find using the Social Value Portal

We will also have the opportunity to work together to explore the opportunities and challenges that using the Social Value Portal may have for VCSE organisations.
