Adult Safeguarding Basic Awareness Course

The aim of this course is:

To give workers in the voluntary and community sector a basic yet effective awareness of how to adequately safeguard vulnerable adults

Through attending the course participants will have an opportunity to:

  • Increase their knowledge of adult safeguarding issues
  • Increase their knowledge in regard  to how to make a referral
  • Explore how to access  guidance, support and useful resources
  • Explore issues around service user participation

The course will be delivered  by trainers from the voluntary and community sector in Salford with experience of working with vulnerable adults.
