Social media can be a great tool for good. To get the most out of the time and energy you spend on your social platform/s you need to post in the right place, at the best times, in an engaging way.
This basic session will help you to find your followers and grow your reach online by taking a look at the key social media channels, exploring differences in demographic data, posting frequency and content style.
We will share tools and resources that can help you to create tailored content for social media platforms and to determine the best times to post your content. The session will also feature inspiring examples of how other charities and good causes are using social media. There will be time to ask any burning questions you have and discuss topics as a group.
This session is aimed at voluntary, community or social enterprises who are new to social media. You may be thinking of promoting your cause or services on social media but aren’t sure where to start, or you may have a presence on social media but you aren’t confident of how to grow your audience.
