This online training introduces feminism, intersectionality and power through a combination of theory and exercises where the participants will get an opportunity to discuss and explore different concepts and terms. During the training, participants will discuss leadership through various exercises and cover topics of what we associate with leaders, traditional assumptions of leadership, how to lead well and the relationship with feminism.
This webinar is part of a special programme of training and support offered to small voluntary organisations (turnover less than £1.5m) that are set up to provide gender-specific services to women, including those affected by the criminal justice system. The Ministry of Justice has funded places for staff from small, specialist women’s organisations. This is part of a programme of capacity building support to promote sustainable development in order to help to strengthen the women’s specialist offer and contribute to the implementation of the Female Offender Strategy.
Clinks aims to strengthen the sector by helping organisations to develop a more varied funding portfolio; support improvements in building the evidence base; engage a diverse group of women who reflect the local population, creating improvements in equality through improved practice; and explore effective service user involvement for women.
If you are a small, specialist women's organisation that was set up to work with women and you would like a place, please contact events@clinks.org. Please note that we may have to ask further questions to ascertain eligibility.
