This programme started on Tuesday 8th September 2020, you can still join in on Tuesday Nights at 6pm – 7pm.
Zoom is a free online platform. During Lockdown DIY have been working with young people and You Can Youth Club to deliver Drama Sessions via Zoom. They are now running a weekly Zoom Drama Session. Over time, theyhope to transition this group back into face-to-face delivery.
You will need access to a phone, computer or tablet that has the internet connection to join these sessions. DIY will all have our camera’s on so we can see one another, and there will always be 2 DIY Staff members in every Zoom.

During 2020 DIY's Passing the Baton Drama Club members have:
- Worked with professional musicians Sarah Atter & Andrea Vogler to develop their music, rhythm and junk percussion skills
- Been inspired by professional circus artist Rosalyne Norford, and circus company Poppins Presents to develop their circus skills
- Created characters for ‘Circus Tricks’ – a devised, musical, circus inspired performance!
Drama Club is a place for young disabled people to play games, gain drama skills and confidence. Through Creative Arts like Drama, Music & Crafts, young people develop communication, teamwork and collaboration skills.
