Farnworth & Kearsley Foodbank can also offer other projects as well as food
Farnworth Baptist Church set up the Farnworth & Kearsley Foodbank in 2014. Since the Coronavirus crisis, the Foodbank have given out nearly 30,000 emergency food parcels. Despite carrying on with their emergency food support, Farnworth & Kearsley Foodbank want to make it widely known that they offer other services too.
Any resident of Bolton has access to the further services and all of them are free of charge. Some of the projects reach into other areas of Greater Manchester, but it is advised to call first to see what is available.
The Farnworth & Kearsley Foodbank project also includes:

- English Classes - ESOL, conversational lessons and a great chance to meet people
- Craft Group - guided group available to all regardless of ability, positive social interaction and suitable for people with physical or mental health issues.
