
Feelgood Communities CIC launch laughter webinars hosted by the education team of the Prison Officers Association (POA learning) on 14-16 July
Feelgood Communities CIC are an organisation which has a focus on the wellbeing of a community and laughter throughout. Their expertise surrounds community work, creative performance and writing and complementary therapies.
The laughter webinar are two-hour sessions. Each of the sessions are split into three forty-minute parts. As the content each day is fairly similar, it allows attendees to take part in different sections on different days.
The sessions are split into three parts which are:
- Part 1 - laughter session
- Part 2 - exploring what laughter is and why we laugh
- Part 3 - looking at possible ways to deal with challenge
For the session, attendees will not be visible on screen but are able to ask questions via the chat box.
The sessions involve some gentle exercise and can be emotional. For this reason, attendees are responsible for their own wellbeing and must consider if are able to join in on certain activities.
