Funding for Schools Community Partnerships

-A A +A

The Community Partnership Challenge grant is now live for Primary Schools and VCSE groups to work together on health and well being outcomes.

It will close at noon on Friday 19th October (please note the date has changed so make sure you are clear regarding this new date).

Last year five partnership projects were successfully funded for up to £15,000 for VCSE groups to work with Salford Primary schools to achieve health and wellbeing outcomes for their children and the wider community.

The projects included:

  • Forest Schools
  • Growing projects
  • Boxing, wrestling and weightlifting for year 5 and 6
  • A project to support holiday hunger in the city
  • An all-weather pitch part funded with support to have a sports team and two coaches trained

How to apply

If you are interested in applying please get in touch with our Healthy Schools & VCSE Worker, Lucy Sutcliffe on 0161 787 7795 ext. 212 or email

Lucy can support you to design a great project and proofread your bid, and may know a group or school that would be a good match for you as well.
