The Heart of Salford Awards are Salford CVS and Volunteer Centre’s prestigious annual ceremony to celebrate volunteering and voluntary action.
Established in 2003, the awards are a firm favourite in the Salford calendar.
The awards provide an opportunity to:
- Thank individual volunteers
- Celebrate the work of volunteering teams
- Recognise the difference voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations make to the people of Salford
A panel of judges, including the Deputy Ceremonial Mayor of Salford, shortlisted from those nominated. Winners were decided by the audience at the awards ceremony, using electronic voting. The awards were presented by a variety of Salford civic leaders and by previous award winners.
