Charities are usually way down the list of priorities for policy makers.
Yet the way they have risen to the challenge during Covid has been striking. What are the prospects of the sector being seen as a key part of the future policy agenda and how do we make that happen?
Following his recent review for the Prime Minister, NPC is delighted to be joined in a special webinar by Danny Kruger, former speechwriter for David Cameron, founder of charity Only Connect and now MP for Devizes to explore these issues. They will also be joined by Charlotte Pickles, former expert advisor to then Secretary of State for Work and Pensions Iain Duncan Smith and now director of Reform.
In what will no doubt be a wide ranging conversation we will be discussing the government’s plans for this parliament, its attitude to charities, the importance of place and devolution, and – possibly – Brexit.
