NHS England has published advice for young people if they are feeling overwhelmed, as well as advice for parents, guardians and carers on how to help and support a child or young person with mental ill health, suicidal thoughts or self-harming behaviours. The advice given by Dr Prathiba Chitsabesan, the Associate National Clinical Director for Children and Young People’s Mental Health for NHS England includes where and how to get help if you are concerned about your child’s mental health and resources for young people.
