We are a social inclusion charity working across Greater Manchester, helping young people and adults create better futures.  We deliver holistic service and support to vulnerable women in Salford.

The Role

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Peer Mentor to lead on the development and delivery of our new Indigo Peer Support Project.  The postholder will facilitate Peer Support to women in Salford who have experienced domestic abuse.  They will be managed by a Lead Practitioner/ Service Manager and will be supported by Peer Support volunteers who have lived experience. The Peer Mentor will develop low-level interventions for women, including befriending and peer support. This approach will be peer-led and co-designed to include people’s lived experiences, be built around shared interests and provide goals and pathways out of support.
