Celebrating Alf's Act - 50 Years of Disabled People's Rights
Join Manchester Histories DigiFest 2020 in marking the 50th anniversary of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act (1970) and celebrating the life and work of the late Lord Alf Morris, MP for Wythenshawe.
With an online programme of live and pre-recorded talks, performances, exhibitions, comedy and debates, led by disabled people for a global audience, will take place on 4th and 5th September.
Manchester Histories are inviting individuals, groups and organisations with an interest or connection to disability rights to get involved in the programme by Monday 6th July
