What:
The Flowheison Foundation is running a Youth Wellbeing Fund project called Mind, Body, Soul. A 20-week course that covers: What is self-care? Burnout, exhaustion, alienation, signs of reduced performance, emergency self-care techniques, recognising and managing emotions, breathing techniques, three ‘P’s, foundations of wellbeing, mindfulness. The sessions will have regular self-assessment and tools to create self-care strategies.
Who:
The sessions are aimed at Pakistani girls residing in Salford. The programme is particularly in keen on catering for and engaging with girls for whom English is not the first language. Flashcards and material will also be available in Urdu/Punjab.
When:
Every Friday starting 26th February.
How:
Experienced bi-lingual mental health practitioners will deliver the programmes and the sessions will take place online via Zoom.
