To manage Holy Trinity Community Centre, ensuring that HTCC strives to achieve its mission and vision, and that it meets the requirements of the programme as set by the funders. The role is responsible for managing the Outreach Team and IAG worker, and providing appropriate support and supervision for staff in these roles. The role is also responsible for overseeing the delivery of a number of funded programmes and projects.
Main duties and responsibilities
This role is responsible for:
- The overall management of the Community Centre.
- The overall management of the People, Place and Presence Programme.
- The overall management of our contract for ESOL delivery with Tameside College.
- The coordination and supervision of the staff team, allowing them to deliver on the agreed outcomes and objectives for all our programmes and projects.
- Any further development of the project in line with objectives, including opportunities to apply for additional funding and other opportunities.
- The monitoring and evaluation of programmes and projects, ensuring that relevant data is captured and reported on to funders and other stakeholders.
- The day-to-day finance administration, including book-keeping and administering petty-cash, monitoring of project finances.
- Taking a lead on matters relating to health and safety, HR, finance and safeguarding
- Working alongside staff to ensure that the project activities to meet the outcomes for funders and the community.
- Working in partnership with other organisations to ensure maximum benefit to the local community.
- Attending Management Committee meetings, reporting on the progress of projects against targets, providing the committee with up-to-date management accounts, taking minutes and keeping a record of actions.
- Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people who use the centre or come into contact with our services.
- Undertake other duties as requested by the Management Committee.

The post is 30 hours per week. The project runs Monday to Thursday 9 to 5pm with some flexible working including an evening meeting once per month. £15.62 per hour. £30,053 per annum FTE (£24,367 per annum pro rata) plus 10% pension contribution.
