Location:

Recruitment Type:

Deadline:

Building on the workforce wellbeing developments over the last 15 months, and the impact of the Greater Manchester Wellbeing Toolkit on our health and care workforce since its launch in March 2021, we have successfully secured funding until March 2022 to increase the reach and impact of the wellbeing support, and continue to develop the provision so that it responds to our workforce needs.

To do this, we are looking for two System Health & Wellbeing Project Managers to join our OD & Wellbeing team, to help embed and deliver a better wellbeing approach where quality improvement, transformational change, and staff engagement, are driven by our workforce, their experiences, and their needs over the coming months.

You will support people and people managers in enhancing the overall workplace wellbeing experience in relation to wellbeing, leadership, communication, performance, and learning developments. You will have:

  • An unfaltering commitment and energy to improve the workplace wellbeing of our workforce.
  • A broad understanding across health and social care settings, and a deep insight into the needs and impact of great wellbeing across our hospitals, care homes, primary care, communities, social care, local authorities and/or emergency services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with a confident or developing Organisational Development skillset of facilitating people - from virtual workshops to group work with managers, and a knowledge of the design and tools to get the best outcomes.
  • Significant experience in project management.
  • Excellent communication skills, and a grounding in coaching and mentoring skills.
  • An understanding of diversity and inclusion is an advantage.
  • The clear ability to treat all colleagues with confidential professionalism and respect, and be able to build and earn the trust of others
  • Be able to challenge with integrity and humility, and be accountable and responsible for your performance, and supportive towards others.

There will be a need to work flexibly, and you will be working as part of a small team, so the opportunities to get involved at all levels are abundant. This role is available as a secondment or a fixed term contract to 31st March 2022.
