Salford City Council has opened an online Book of Condolences.
The COVID-19 outbreak has been a tragic and unprecedented time of loss for families and communities across the UK, and Salford is no exception.
Salford has, like many cities across the country, experienced a high number of deaths from COVID-19. With every loss, there is a story behind that loss, a person, a family, friends and fond memories.
Whilst the city is working to recover from these difficult times, we should also take time to reflect and remember those we have lost and celebrate their lives.
This online book of condolences is a chance for the whole of our community to remind us, that behind every number of fatality the city has experienced, there is a person. These are those people and these are their stories.
