The Salford Crisis Fund is a responsive fund offering VCSE organisations grants of up to £500 to help address immediate need arising from the coronavirus crisis. All applications must explain how you will support the health and wellbeing of local people affected by this crisis. This fund is not for general health and wellbeing projects.
Examples of what can be funded:
- Provision of food and household items to vulnerable groups
- Phone-based and other practical support to vulnerable groups / self-isolated households
- Emotional wellbeing and mental health support to those in need
To apply to the Salford Crisis Fund your organisation must:
a) Be a member of Salford CVS* Only voluntary, community or social enterprise sector organisations can join Salford CVS. For further details of Salford CVS membership click here or apply online. When you apply you’ll need to upload a signed copy of your Constitution / Articles of Association.
b) Have Public Liability Insurance If you don’t currently have public liability insurance your bid will need to include the cost of this cover for 12-months. See this link for guidance on public liability insurance.
