We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly professional person who is committed to the values and priorities of Salford CVS and who wants to make a difference to the 46,800 volunteers and 1,513 voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations of Salford. Our successful candidate will play a proactive and productive role as a key member of the organisation's development team, providing support to voluntary organisations, community groups and social enterprises in Salford.

They will be providing information, advice and guidance (IAG), mentoring and training to Salford voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations (VCSEs) to enable them to develop their safeguarding practices and policies with children and adults and to meet their safeguarding requirements, including the Salford Safeguarding Standards. They will work with a wide range of local VCSE organisations in an accessible way to assess their need for capacity-building support and to refer/signpost to other support interventions that build the capacity and sustainability of VCSEs, thus contributing to improved outcomes for people living in Salford.
