A new YouTube channel for the d/Deaf community in Salford.
#SalfordSigned is a new YouTube channel designed to be fully accessible to the d/Deaf community in Salford and is a platform to share information on services across the city and to share experiences of accessing healthcare.
The new channel was developed by Salford Deaf Advocacy Service and delivered by Manchester Deaf Centre.
The project has received funding from NHS Salford CCG's Innovation Fund. All videos on the channel are signed in BSL, which is British Sign Language, by Kirsty-Jade and Jephta Asamoah, there is also subtitles and a voiceover provided.
