Survivors Manchester is currently looking for someone that has the passion and abilities to help deliver trauma-informed therapy in a prison setting.

For the past 11 years, Survivors Manchester has provided survivor-focused therapeutic and advocacy support to male victims / survivors of sexual abuse, rape, and sexual exploitation. We  have developed a three-tiered approach to services and underpin everything we do with a 'trauma and recovery' framework pioneered by Dr Judith Herman. We have now been commissioned to deliver a trauma therapy service in 15 prisons across the North West of England and are looking for motivated and skilled practitioners to work in a fascinating, vital, and sometimes challenging environment.

You will understand issues  relating to trauma, be able to work as part of a team and feel confident working in a prison setting.

In return for your time, experience, and commitment to the organisation, you will receive an annual salary of £29,000 –  £33,000; 22 days annual leave (increasing annually by 1 day to max of 28 days) plus bank holidays; birthday leave; company sick pay; monthly clinical supervision; pension contribution; and a range of training opportunities.
