Coinciding with BBC’s Big Night In, last night a consortium of charities launched the #NeverMoreNeeded campaign.
Following on from the #EveryDayCounts campaign to secure government funding (read our sector's response to that) there is still much work to do to ensure the charity sector can still complete its vital work to improve lives and make a difference.
As we navigate the worst impacts of the coronavirus outbreak, people across the country are relying on VCSE organisations, the essential support they provide and how they shape our society for the better. And we shall all continue to rely on their expertise and experience now, in acute crisis, and as we move on to the recovery effort that lies ahead.
What do I need to do?
We are asking out members to:
- Tell your story of why your organisation and charities are #NeverMoreNeeded
- Please use pictures if you have them or the #NeverMoreNeeded graphic You can download the graphic from Charity Finance Group.
- Or use #NeverMoreNeeded in your existing social comms
- The tone of voice should be upbeat, emotive, engaging, and urgent
When should I start?
Now! The campaign launched last night, please continue to take part in #NeverMoreNeeded over the coming weeks, to sustain the sector’s profile in the following weeks. Other notable events are the 2.6 challenge which starts on 26 April and Giving Tuesday on 5 May 2020.
