The 13th annual Trustee Exchange conference will be the first to be run in an exciting new virtual format.
Trustees’ understandable have desired for more advice and support to help them navigate the crisis. Pressure on trustee boards has never been higher and Civil Society are keen to respond to that need for greater help and guidance in a safe and timely manner – hence the move to an online conference on the mornings of the 29 and 30 July (9.30am - 1pm).
Girish Menon, chief executive of ActionAid UK to open day 1 of Trustee Exchange Online and Phyll Opoku-Gyimah, founder and executive director of UK Black Pride and executive director of the Kaleidoscope Trust to open day 2. Giresh will explore the role of trustees in a prolonged period of crisis and Phyll will explore the practical steps that you and your organisation can take to challenge the structures and policies that perpetuate systemic structural racism in the charity sector.
