
University Academy 92 (UA92) are offering 92 grants to enable Greater Manchester residents to access higher education
The Kickstart grant is offering grants of £5,000 to people who have been financially affected by Coronavirus in Greater Manchester. The grant will help to gain access to higher education.
The grant is aimed at those who are out of work or living on reduced means due to the impact of Coronavirus, to study at UA92 for a short course or a degree. The grant applies to all degree courses available at UA92 or seven month Certificate of Higher Eduaction courses including accounting and finance, business, computer science, media and sport.

This scheme is particularly aimed at those who may not have previously entered higher education. This may help to gain qualifications and create new employment opportunities.
If anyone has been financially affected since 1 March 2020 can apply for the grant. Studying for the degree or short course would begin in September or November 2020 or January 2021.
