Victim Support is looking for an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor in Lancashire

Victim Support (VS) is an independent charity for people affected by crime in England and Wales. We work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and respect they deserve. We are the commissioned provider of Lancashire Victim Services providing support for all victims of crime across Lancashire.

An opportunity has arisen to join our domestic abuse team and we are looking for an accredited and experienced IDVA to work with High Risk victims of domestic abuse across East Lancashire, based in Accrington.

We are looking for someone with drive, passion and commitment who can demonstrate considerable experience of working with high risk victims of domestic abuse and hold a Safelives IDVA accreditation (or equivilent). This is a busy service with high demand so you will need to be organised, methodical, have excellent crisis management skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Victim Support offers competitive rewards and benefits including pension and life assurance, 25 days annual leave (pro-rata), voluntary benefits such as season ticket loans and the opportunity to play a key role in a national charity providing world-class services to victims and witnesses and being a vital force for change.
