Creative Explorers Outside: Continuing Professional / Skills Development programme
The Creative Explorers Outside continued personal development (CPD) is designed for people who are interested in or have experience of:
- Arts, culture and heritage, particularly with a focus on participation
- Green spaces and the environment / gardening / conservation
- Making things happen within your community
- Learning, developing or sharing creative skills
Involvement will be via an application process (written or filmed) and we are hoping for a group of approximately 20 people who can engage digitally / for some of the sessions and 2 smaller groups of 5 people who engage digitally and for all of the sessions: it will be a mix of blended learning. There is no charge for the course as it is funded by the Peel Park Heritage Lottery Funding, the course is available to Salford residents, Park users, students, artists.
Creative Explorers will involve some sessions before Christmas (one a week, dates and times TBC from w/b 16 November – w/b 14 December), and some after (starting again in February), leading towards a proposed appropriately distanced sharing event at the end of March 2021 to mark 12 months since the 1st lockdown was announced and implemented.
If you have any particular access needs please say in advance: if you do not have access to Zoom please get in touch via text. If you need help with travel costs to the sessions contact the organisers.
