Salford Youth Council are running a virtual event to give accurate information to young people about coming out of lockdown.
The virtual event, will feature a series of videos of young people asking and having their questions answered by Public Health teams.
Salford Youth Council are seeking submissions of questions from young people to feature on social media. If you work with young people please pass this request on to them. They will either need to provide a video asking a question (with appropriate permission to be shared via social media) or they can submit a written question which can be asked for them.
The kind of subjects the Youth Council are expecting are:
- Test, trace and the possibility of 14 days of self-isolation, the implications for young people in terms of work, travel and social lives, how to protect their older family members.
- Enjoying summer safely – understanding current guidance on going out.
- Staying alert and staying safe - see this blog
- What is being done to protect Salford's BAME communities?
Please send any videos or questions to Martyn on martyn.shaw@salford.gov.uk by Friday 24 July.
