Training on the Equality Act 2010
• What does the Equality Act 2010 mean to my voluntary organisation/community group?
• How do I tell funders and commissioners about the work we do on equalities?
• Can we improve our equalities work?
This training and unique tool is available on 5TH December 2013.
This training has been developed by a local partnership committed to promoting equalities in Salford and to highlighting good practice in the voluntary sector.
This training will help you to
- Understand your voluntary organisations responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010.
- Use a unique tool that will help you show funders and commissioners that you meet their equalities requirements. The tool has been mapped across to Salford City Council PQQ and Big Lottery requirements.
- Develop your organisations good practice on equalities.
