Understand how to embed anti-discriminatory practice into your day-to-day work

The aim of this course is
To provide knowledge and understanding of theoretical and practical issues associated with Principles, Values, Equality, Inclusion and Anti-Discriminatory Practice relating to the care of children and young people.

 This course will help you to
• Understand the principles and values needed to work with children and young people
• Understand the effects of prejudice,discrimination and stereotyping
• Create an Action Plan to embed ADP into your day-to-day work
• Learn more about the context of your work in Salford

Who should attend?
All staff, trustees and volunteers who want to gain a basic understanding about how to include anti-discriminatory practice in their work with children and young people.

If this is a paid course, you don’t need to pay online – we will post an invoice out to you and you will receive a 10% discount for booking online. If you have a training voucher please add details to the 'Additional Information' box and we will apply this discount to your invoice.

If you don’t know your Membership rate you can still register and someone from our Admin Team will contact you to confirm your payment rate.

Once you have registered, you will immediately receive an email to confirm your registration and a second email confirming your booking will be sent one week prior to the training date.
