A half day workshop introducing the science of ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and a basic understanding of trauma informed practice. The online training is intended for frontline and managerial practitioners to introduce a shared understanding and language relating to ACEs and trauma informed practice.
Content includes:
- What is Trauma and Adversity (including ACEs)
- Stress response system and impact on child development
- Resilience factors;
- What is trauma informed practice;
- Practitioner self-care
This online training is free to attend and has been funded through Home Office Grant funding, however, there will be a non-attendance fee of £100 per place should you cancel without giving at least 48hrs notice.
