UK Coaching: Safeguarding and Protecting Children

Every child deserves to enjoy playing sport and engaging in physical activity in a safe and supportive environment, where they feel heard, understood, and valued. This UK Coaching accredited training will support you to learn how to recognise and respond to concerns a child may be experiencing, or be at risk of experiencing, harm, neglect, or abuse.
Who should attend? Volunteers and staff working in sports clubs and groups Greater Manchester, including coaches and committee members. You must be aged 18+ to attend this course, if you are under 18 contact sportswelfare@gmmoving.co.uk for signposting to alternative courses.
This course is accepted by a range of sports national governing bodies (NGB), if you're group is affiliated to an NGB please check their requirements before booking.
