Aim
To help VCSE organisations to embed a safer recruitment culture through all aspects of their recruitment, onboarding and support processes for staff and volunteers.
Learning Outcomes
As a result of attending the session learners will achieve the following learning outcomes:
- Understand the importance of creating a safer recruitment culture
- Understand how to embed a safer recruitment culture through all stages of recruitment
- Understand the legal requirements relating to ID and DBS checks
Target Audience
- Managers and/or HR staff from VCSE organisations who are responsible for recruitment and HR functions that support staff and volunteers including Probation/Induction, Supervision and Appraisal
- Managers that are responsible for Safer Recruitment policy.
