County Lines Lived Experience training
Aim: to support staff and volunteers from the VCSE sector to understand the impact of County Lines and Cuckooing from the perspective of young people that have been involved and their families, and the adult victims. This training is based on the lived experience of individuals impacted by County Lines.
Learning Outcomes: As a result of attending the session learners will be able to:
- Recognise risk factors and warning signs of Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE)
- Understand how County Lines operates and how gangs target victims.
- Apply trauma-informed approaches to support victims effectively.
- Navigate the legal and safeguarding frameworks governing CCE
- Engage in multi-agency collaboration to intervene early.
Target Audience: staff and volunteers from organisations that work with children and young people at risk of involvement or already impacted by CCE; and those that support adult victims of cuckooing/home exploitation.
