Theme Community Mental Health Transformation & Suicide Prevention

As Mental Health services across Salford continue to evolve and undergo important transformation work, this forum will explore key developments in Community Mental Health and Suicide Prevention.

Hear directly from the Head of Operations for Salford and Trafford at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust about the ongoing Community Mental Health Transformation, what it means for local communities, and how the VCSE sector can get involved.

We’ll also discuss the Greater Manchester Suicide Prevention Strategy 2025-2030 and its local delivery plan for Salford. Steven Gavin will share how Public Health, the Integrated Care Board and the VCSE sector are working together to shape the plan.

This is your opportunity to provide feedback, identify gaps, and help ensure the strategy reflects the needs of Salford communities.
