Learn how to advise and signpost the voluntary and community sector on Quality

The aim of this course is
To improve Development Workers' knowledge and skills to support and signpost voluntary and community groups with and to relevant quality assurance systems.

This course will help you to
• Understand the meaning of Quality Assurance for the voluntary and community sector
• Explore the range and relevance of quality assurance systems (including costs) for the sector
• Discuss the benefits of implementing a quality assurance system in a voluntary and community organisation
• Know the difference between self-assessment and external accreditation

Who should attend?
Development Workers and Community Development Workers from the Council, NHS and other infrastructure organisations who support voluntary and community groups who are interested in learning more about quality assurance.
