Veterans Garage

Who do you work with?: Adult offenders and ex-offenders and their families, Low income (people on), Substance misusers (drugs/alcohol), Unemployed people, Other
Organisation description: The Veterans Garage purpose is to repair, maintain and restore classic cars and motor cycles. We do this with the help of many volunteers who are veterans from the military service and people from the 3 emergency services, also people including youths from the Criminal Justice System. We work with Combat Stress, Royal British Legion, SSAFA, EFAN, Thorncroft Prison, Salfords Youth Offending Program, and many others depending on need. Everyone working at the garage are volunteers.
Supporting other voluntary and community organisations: Employing people, Funding advice, Volunteering
Facilities and resources: Refreshments provided, Car parking, Event management facilities
Other resources description: Up to date I.T. facilities for presentations etc.
What are your opening days and times, and when is your venue and meeting space available?: We are open from 9 am to 10 pm. Including weekends.
