Organisation description: Home-Start Trafford, Salford and Wigan is a local branch of the national Home-Start network, providing emotional and practical support to families with young children who are facing challenges such as isolation, mental health issues, financial hardship, and parenting difficulties. The organisation works through trained volunteers who visit families at home and offer tailored, confidential assistance. In Salford, they provide an Infant Feeding Peer Support service to new and expectant parents and a Dad Matters project. Their mission is to ensure that every child has the best possible start in life by strengthening family resilience and wellbeing.
