Who do you work with?: Adult offenders and ex-offenders and their families, Young offenders
Organisation description: Remedi provide a range of restorative justice based services (RJ processes and activity bring those harmed by a crime or conflict and those responsible for that harm into communication, enabling everyone affected by a particular incident to play a part in repairing the harm and finding a positive way forward) working in partnership with youth offending teams, probation services, prisons and Police & Crime Commissioners in South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Manchester, Derby, Stockport, Salford, Humberside, Cheshire and Derbyshire
We provide:-
Restorative Justice support for victims of youth and adult crime and the offender/s responsible in order to enable access to this type of intervention. We facilitate both direct (face to face) and indirect communication between both parties in order to assist them in moving on, achieving closure. We provide these services across the full spectrum of the criminal justice arena including murder and manslaughter cases.
Community Reparation projects for young offenders in 8 Youth Offending Teams.
