Organisation description: Cruse Bereavement Care is the leading national charity for bereaved people in England Wales and Northern Ireland. Our mission is to offer support, advice, and information to adults when someone dies and work to enhance society's care of bereaved people. During the current pandemic we have adapted our support to ensure the safety of our clients and volunteers. We offer a telephone answerphone service and support sessions are being given over the telephone, email or internet. We provide bereavement resources either by email or by the postal service. We are constantly reviewing the situation in line with government guidelines. Our services are provided by trained volunteers and are confidential and free. Cruse provides training and consultancy for external organisations and for those who may come in contact with bereaved people in the course of their work.
