Organisation description: BHA For Equality, originally established as the Black Health Agency in 1990, emerged from a grassroots movement in Manchester to address the urgent need for HIV information and services tailored to Black communities. Over the years, we have expanded our focus to support racially marginalized groups and LGBTQ+ communities, advocating for equitable healthcare access and delivering public health campaigns across Greater Manchester and beyond. Our commitment to challenging health inequalities continues to drive our efforts in empowering individuals and communities to improve their health and wellbeing, fostering a culture of inclusivity and support for those we work alongside.
